Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4 russet potatoes
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 3 T butter
- pinch of salt and pepper
How to:
- Peel and cut potatoes into fourths.
- Add cold water, salt, and potatoes to pot.
- Turn on stove to medium high heat and bring to a boil.
- Leave on for 15 min. or until potatoes are tender.
- Drain water from potatoes.
- Mash using a potato masher or whatever you have.
- Heat milk in microwave.
- Slowly add milk to potatoes, mix while doing so.
- Add butter and mix it around.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve while warm!

This recipe is so easy to do! Its very simple and you can do your own variations of most of the ingredients based on what consistency you like. The more milk you add the smoother it gets. and theres never too much butter! Enjoy!
